The Bible says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine…” Life is hard but laughter is healing. Before I do comedy, I always pray if someone is in the audience who has not laughed for a long time that God would enable them to laugh. I have had people say, “Whatever you do, don’t give up the comedy. We need to laugh!”

I also do comedy because it seems when people laugh together their hearts appear more open to receive the deeper truths of God.
